Mr. Mazares joined Encore as president and chief executive officer in October 2006. He has conceived and implemented Encore’s transformation to a knowledge-based provider of electronic discovery and related services. Under his leadership, Encore has been named a Top Ten provider of eDiscovery and related services for consecutive years according to the 2007 and 2008 Socha-Gelbmann industry surveys. He has over two decades of general management experience in the legal services sector, in such areas as electronic data discovery, Web hosting services, trial consulting, demonstrative evidence, courtroom presentation technology, legal software development, document management, legal research, deposition services, and legal staffing. Mr. Mazares also spent nine years in marketing and general management in consumer package goods and retail consumer banking with Nestle USA and First Interstate Bancorp, respectively. He serves as an expert source to electronic and print media on leading trends and current issues in the legal sector. He holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from Harvard University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Kimothy Taylor is responsible for the day-to-day management of Encore’s National Operations Center in Phoenix.. He is a highly regarded litigation technology and operations specialist with over 17 years in the legal industry. In 1995, Kim co-founded the highly successful national full service litigation support company, Lex Solutio, which now operates as a cornerstone of Encore Discovery Solutions. Lex Solutio was appointed by the Court to manage the data for the Enron litigation, which remains the largest document-intensive case in litigation history. Kim’s extensive experience in the litigation field coupled with his in-depth knowledge of technology and operations enables him to guide Encore’s production and operations staff to deliver quality work product, on time. He holds a paralegal degree from Phoenix College, an ABA-approved program, and also earned a Bachelor’s Degree in liberal studies from Arizona State University.
Keith Lieberman joined Encore in November, 2005 as CFO. Mr. Lieberman has over 20 years of financial management experience, including mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financing, treasury management and strategic business planning. He most recently served as CFO for EMSI, Inc. a leading provider of medical information. Prior to that, Mr. Lieberman was a cofounder and CFO for U. S. HealthWorks a provider of clinical and occupational services and CFO for ASB Meditest a provider of medical information. Mr. Lieberman began his career with Deloitte & Touche and holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Illinois State University and is a CPA.
Kris Taylor is the Senior Vice President for Encore Discovery Solutions National Operations Center in Phoenix, AZ. As Senior Vice President, Kris is responsible for the development of existing and future client relationships, and is heavily involved in the management of large projects. He also oversees the Company’s outstanding project management team and ensures that all Encore project managers adhere to the highest standards of service and expertise. He has over ten years of sales, production, and management experience, coupled with extensive knowledge of the legal industry and litigation support software. He has presented at numerous speaking engagements on the subject of automated litigation technology and electronic discovery.
Greg Spicer joined Encore in November 2006 as Vice President and was named Senior Vice President of Sales in September of 2008. Mr. Spicer is a leader of the sales function at Encore. He works closely with Encore’s CEO to develop and implement sales strategies and go-to-market initiatives. In addition to his management responsibilities Mr. Spicer also oversees large-scale international electronic discovery projects including data forensics, analytics and processing as well as Web hosting and production for Am Law 100 clients and Fortune 500 companies. Prior to joining Encore in 2006, he was Vice President of Professional Services for Whitmont Legal Technologies, where he led the company's national Professional Services Group. Previous to his employment at Whitmont, Mr. Spicer worked at IKON Legal Document Services, managing large projects for Fortune 500 companies. He is a member of the eDiscovery Metrics 3 Working Group of the Socha-Gelbmann 2008 Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) project. Greg holds a Bachelor of Science degree in economics, with a minor in international trade and development, from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and is currently attending the MBA program of the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business. He is located in Los Angeles, CA.
Warren Kruse II joined Encore as vice president of data forensics and analytics in May 2007. He heads up the Encore business unit that assists law firms and corporate legal departments with litigation readiness, data collection, preservation of evidence, computer forensics, incident response and cybercrime prevention. Prior to joining Encore, Warren was managing director of the IT risk consulting practice at Aon Corporation. Previously, he was director of the Northeast Region for the data forensics practice at Kroll and operated his own boutique firm, Computer Forensic Services, LLC. Warren also served as investigations manager for cyber investigations and forensics at Lucent Technologies. He is the coauthor of “Computer Forensics: Incident Response Essentials,” an Addison Wesley textbook, and is a frequent lecturer on the subjects of computer forensics, incident response and cybercrime. He has extensive experience in computer forensic cases involving some of the largest law firms and corporations in the world and has conducted forensic analyses globally in support of numerous cases, from civil disputes to criminal prosecutions at the federal level. Warren is an IACIS Certified Forensic Computer Examiner (CFCE) and an ISC2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). He is also a member of numerous government-sponsored initiatives, including board member of the National Center for Forensic Science’s Digital Evidence Certification Committee.
Anton Litchfield joined Encore as director of data forensics and analytics in May 2008. He assists law firms, corporate legal departments, and federal, state and local governments with litigation readiness, data collection, preservation of evidence, computer forensics, incident response and cybercrime prevention. Prior to joining Encore, Anton was managing director of the data forensic consulting practice at Bridge City Legal. Previously, he was Managing Principal of the data forensics practice at NTI. At NTI Anton also instructed computer forensic training classes that had been attended by US federal law enforcement officers, state and local law enforcement officers, military, foreign government officials, and corporate computer security professionals. Anton formerly was a police officer with Ontario Provincial Police (OPP). The last four years of Anton's law enforcement career were spent as a Detective in the OPP's Child Pornography Unit ("Project P") where he investigated computer crimes related to child pornography and the sexual exploitation of children. Anton has extensive expert witness testimony experience as well as experience as a special master. He has consulted and managed numerous large scale forensic and e-discovery projects including one project where over 4,300 computers worldwide were analyzed for responsive data. He is an EnCase Certified Examiner and holds a professional certificate in computer forensics from Oregon State University.
Hemanth Salem joined Encore Discovery Solutions as Vice President of Professional Services in January 2007. Mr. Salem’s responsibilities include building and leading a team of professional consultants and project managers to serve the growing electronic discovery and Web Repository needs of Encore’s clients. Mr. Salem has more than 15 years of experience as a systems analyst, software engineer and litigation consultant. Most recently, Mr. Salem was Vice President of Technology Operations at Esquire Litigation Solutions, and previously served as an Engineering manager at Merrill Corp and Trion Technologies Inc. Mr. Salem earned his undergraduate degree from the International Institute of Technology in India and a Master of Science degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland.
Vice President and General Manager
Chris Nottleman joined Encore in August of 2005. As Vice President and General Manager, he is responsible for business development in Phoenix, Arizona. During his tenure at Encore Discovery Solutions, Chris and his team of consultants have worked with some of the largest law firms in the Southwest focusing on complex litigation. Prior to joining Encore in 2005, he was Senior Sales Manager for IKON Legal Document Services responsible for the Southwest and the San Francisco Bay Area. He has been a frequent guest speaker at the Arizona Paralegal Association and the Arizona Association of Defense Counsel. Chris attended Northern Arizona University.
Aaron Soboloski joined Encore in June 2003. As Vice President, Mr. Soboloski works closely with local and federal government organizations, regional law firms and Fortune 500 companies. Most recently, Aaron has focused on implementing document and data evidence programs and strategies for various high profile defense contractors. A proven sales leader, Aaron possesses a passion for learning and growing his technical capacity which he most recently developed as a Senior Solutions Consultant. Prior to joining Encore in 2003, he was a Senior Account Manager at OmniDox in Washington, DC. Previous to his employment at OmniDox, Mr. Soboloski worked at Kinkos Commercial Document Solutions as a Strategic Account Manager in Washington, DC. In this role Aaron managed government as well as commercial accounts. Aaron holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Education and English Literature from State University of New York Oswego. He is based in Phoenix, AZ.

Dean Lewis joined Encore in April 2007. As Vice President, he oversees large-scale international electronic discovery projects including data forensics, analytics and processing as well as Web hosting and production for Am Law 100 law firms and Fortune 500 companies. Prior to joining Encore, Dean was a Senior Account Executive for Williams Lea, where he managed several of the company's largest national accounts. Previous to his employment at Williams Lea, he worked at Uniscribe Professional Services, managing the downtown Los Angeles Sales team as well as large projects for major law firms and corporations. Earlier in his career Dean was the Paralegal Coordinator at the law offices of Berger Kahn in Marina del Rey, CA. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in paralegal studies from the University of West Los Angeles and an Associates of Arts degree in Administration of Justice. He is located in Los Angeles, CA and resides in Chino Hills, CA with his wife and two children.
Vice President
Michael Glick joined Encore in July 2006. As Vice President, he consults with Am Law 200 firms and Fortune 500 corporations in all phases of discovery, including forensics and data analytics, preservation and collection of evidence, processing and workflow planning, relevance review, database construction and online hosting. Michael brings 19 years of legal and litigation support experience to Encore Discovery Solutions. As a lawyer and an innovator with a deep understanding of the litigation process, Mr. Glick has designed a number of special processes and procedures to add value to the client deliverable services. His understanding of computer technology and its relationship to legal practice and document control have helped him guide his clients’ introduction to these new and powerful tools to manage their litigation process. Michael is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of the University of California, San Diego and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science, as well as a JD from Loyola Law School. He was admitted to practice in all California and Federal courts in 1996. He is also a long-term member of Advisory Board of the California State University Los Angeles Paralegal Program
Vice President, eDiscovery Solutions
In leading the global electronic discovery practice for Encore Litigation Solutions, Ramsey works with corporate legal departments and their outside counsel to develop and implement Litigation Readiness Plans and coordinate and facilitate large, complex, evidence-intensive cases. For the past 28 years, Ramsey has been involved in virtually every aspect of the litigation process and has worked with a broad array of legal technologies designed to support complex litigation. Most recently, he was national accounts manager for the electronic discovery and litigation solution practice at Esquire Litigation Solutions, where he worked with Fortune 500 corporate law departments and AmLaw 100 law firms. Prior to Esquire, he served as vice president of national sales for SealedMedia, a digital rights management solution provider, chief executive officer of Evoke, an interactive legal continuing education publisher, senior vice president of electronic publishing for Research Institute of America (a Thomson West company), and worked for Matthew Bender Company in releasing the first CD-ROM legal research products to the industry. Ramsey lectures frequently on best practices in electronic discovery, as well as the use of technology to leverage successful litigation outcomes. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley and attended UC Berkeley for post-graduate studies in English Literature. In recent years, he has attended strategic leadership and business programs at Columbia and Harvard universities.
Vice President
Michael joined Encore Discovery Solutions’ senior business development team as Vice President in August 2008 with a focus on increasing Encore’s revenue growth and market share of targeted Fortune 500 corporations and AM Law 200 law firms. Prior to joining Encore Discovery Solutions, Michael was the National Director, Corporate Services Division, of Esquire Litigation Solutions, LLC and Esquire Deposition Services, LLC. In this capacity, he achieved exemplary results in leading sales, marketing, and operations in the delivery of discovery applications, deposition services, and case management support to major insurance, pharmaceutical, and technology companies, including their outside counsel. Previously, Michael has held senior leadership positions with Qwest Communications, FPL Group, One Call Communications, and MCI, with extensive success in leading company resources in the sales, development, delivery, and management of IT, Telecom, and BPO applications for Fortune 500 companies and for Federal and State Government agencies. He received his undergraduate degree in economics from the University of Miami, and has participated in executive development programs at The University of Texas. He is based in Austin, TX.
Michael joined Encore in January of 2007. He is responsible for discovery management and complex litigation consulting with law firms and corporations. Michael comes to Encore with 14 years industry experience. His background includes 5 years at Whitmont Legal Technologies, where Michael’s primary responsibility was to consult with customers on approaches to ediscovery review and processing. Michael’s background also includes five years at the law firm of Skjerven, Morrill, MacPherson, Franklin and Friel in San Jose where he was an Automated Litigation Support Specialist. His duties included supervision of document scanning and coding projects, managing personnel, conducting electronic data discovery, and setting up and supporting technical requirements for off-site trials. While at SMMFF as well as later on as a Sr. Project Manager, Michael was responsible for coordinating and directing the production of large-scale litigation projects. These projects include electronic data conversion, special processing for proprietary files, document scanning, and document coding. Michael graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor’s of Art in Political Science.
Steve Moore is Vice President of Encore’s Web Hosting Services unit. He has over 15 years of large-project litigation support services experience, which includes expertise in project management, database review and design consulting. Steve contributes particular expertise and experience in data management, databases, document imaging, and trial consulting. His overall knowledge of a broad array of litigation software programs, discovery workflow, and imaging production gives him unique skills to manage and solve complex technical productions.
Bryan Campbell joined Encore in May 2008 as Director of Web Hosting Services in the company’s Phoenix National Operations Center. He currently oversees the daily activities of all Web projects and productions, strategizes and consults with clients on complex litigation matters and continues to improve processes through new technologies and training. Prior to joining the Encore team Bryan managed the eDiscovery and Web hosting departments for Deloitte & Touche where he was responsible for large litigation processing on domestic and international assignments. Bryan maintains a high degree of expertise on major litigation software programs, giving him unique skills to manage and solve complex litigation projects. He holds an undergraduate degree in management information systems from the University of Delaware.
Michael Schubert re-joined Encore in June 2008 as Vice President of
Production & Operations in the company's Phoenix National Operations
Center. Prior to joining the Encore team Michael was a Senior Product
Manager at IPRO Tech in Phoenix, where he was responsible for the
design, development, and marketing of the ESI processing and review
product lines featuring the eCapture and eReview brands. Before joining
IPRO Michael worked for Encore Discovery Solutions for five years and
his most recent role with the company was Director of Electronic
Discovery Solutions. In this role Michael oversaw all ESI operational
processing. He graduated from Marquette University with a B.S. in
Business Administration and Information Technology.
Jason Turnage joined Encore as Director of Software Development and Research in 2007. He currently oversees all software development and integration of new technologies at Encore. Previously, Jason worked as Director of Software Development at Forensics Consulting Solutions in Phoenix, AZ. His experience also includes project management in large, complex litigation and serving as the primary investigator and analyst in numerous computer forensics investigations. Prior to joining the legal services industry, Jason worked as a semiconductor automation software developer at Intel and was responsible for developing and managing the Laser Scribe Elimination, Statistical Process Control and Lens Reticle Distortion software packages to automate Intel’s chip manufacturing processes worldwide. Jason holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science and engineering from Northern Arizona University and has received professional training in several additional areas including project management and certification in computer forensics.Brad Balatgek joined Encore in April 2007. He manages Encore’s Software Development Group, which is responsible for the implementation, deployment, and maintenance of Encore's internally developed software. Brad's career has been focused on software automation and vendor management. He started as a co-op for two semesters at Sikorsky Aircraft while an undergraduate, and spent nearly seven years at Intel Corporation as a Software Engineer / Product Owner. Brad entered the electronic discovery profession in 2004 when he joined Forensics Consulting Solutions, where he gained experience in data forensics methodologies, data processing automation, project management, and eDiscovery consulting core skills which are critical to leading Encore’s software team. Brad graduated in 1996 from the College of Engineering at The Pennsylvania State University in State College, PA, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science.
David Earney joined Encore in August 2008. He brings the Company over 19 years of experience in network infrastructure design, network operations, and network implementation. David has worked in the telecommunications industry, for the U.S. government, and has contracted for the U.S. government in both the United States and abroad throughout his career. He most recently served as the IT Manager for KBR’s Regional Project Management Operations offices at LSA Anaconda in Balad, Iraq, where he was responsible for help desk support, network administration, network design and implementation, and asset management. David began his technology career in the United States Army as a Telecommunications Specialist, serving in Arizona, Germany, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Geoff Schmidt joined Encore in 2003 and is currently responsible for processing and production of Encore's electronic discovery services offering. He has over 10 years of experience in the litigation support services industry in a variety of roles. Geoff previously served as Litigation Project Manager for Arthur Andersen (which later became KPMG) in their Cypress, California office. At Encore, Geoff also served as Production Manager for Imaging and Reprographics Services in Phoenix. He was promoted to Director of Operations for Encore’s Chicago office, and then returned to Encore’s National Operations Center in Phoenix in January 2007 to assume responsibility for electronic discovery operations.
Tammy Doss is the Director of Project Management Operations and Development for Encore Discovery Solutions. In her role, Tammy is responsible for Encore’s national team of project managers who work on some of the largest and most complex matters in our industry. She and her team have managed thousands of projects including a variety of services such as data collections and forensics, data analysis and minimization, electronic discovery processing, and web hosting in various review platforms. Tammy and her team focus on client service, solutions development, design specifications, project implementation, and on-time delivery of quality services. Tammy has developed expertise in litigation support technology and services over the past seven years. She has held positions in sales management, client services, professional services and project management with Encore, Lex Solutio Corporation, and Syngence Corporation. Tammy is the founder and Director of the Phoenix Chapter of Women in eDiscovery, an organization that promotes networking and educational opportunities for women in the litigation support field. The Phoenix Chapter consists of more than 30 professional women in the Phoenix area working for law firms, software companies and service providers. Tammy graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor’s of Business Marketing.
Todd Sparck joined Encore in May 2006 and currently serves as Production Manager of Encore’s Paper Services unit including the production, coding, back office, and video services departments. He has over 10 years of experience in delivering best-in-class litigation support services. Prior to joining Encore, Todd was Operations Manager for IKON Legal Document Services in Arizona, and also served as trainer for IKON’s Desert Southwest operations teams. Earlier in his career he was a multi-unit Area Manager for a national restaurant chain overseeing 19 restaurants. Todd holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a minor in Computer Science, from Friends University in Wichita, Kansas.
